A rhyme to dream…

Why cant I sleep when I think of thee,

For sleep shall render me wonder,

The wonder of the dreams it shall render,

For thy memory, my life I shall surrender.

I run away from the consciousness the present shall render,

And the memory of happiness it shall hinder,

When life has gone under and un-her.

Why as I reminisce….

I sleep to wonder,

And my dreams appear and her,

To her and her memories I surrender.
For she is my Childhood,
She is my Innocence,
She is all that happiness could ever be,
For she is kid in me, the best that i could ever be.
 

Wishdumb - The dawn of reality

Sometimes your heart wanders and takes you to places you will never get to be,

Makes your mind believe the dope of fantasy is reality.

Mind attempts to mask the impossibility of achievement.

But one needs to pull the reins of wisdom,

And educate the flying heart that flight for humans is artificial,

To be grounded is fate, else inability to fly shall haunt your existence.

While coming to terms with fate is when Reality dawns on the mind that ages with experience.

The big leap

When I looked at the sky I first felt shy! 

The sky was too high and my morale too low;

I asked myself why can't I try, as there's everything to lose being shy.

The big leap I take, my own life I make! 

That's the first time I decided to fly, away from all the doubts that made me shy,  away I fly! 

Swept by all the doubts, I leapt, I realised I've left behind familiarity as I soared to new heights,

With head held high, in an ever so magnanimous sky!

Up and away from obscurity, with the sway of positivity, 

With wings of fire from the thirst for success, I implore my conscience to explore the unknown, to view the possibility of everything beyond the normalcy of sanity, as I look down upon the treaded path of vanity and the dreaded numbness of mediocrity!
